Dear Graham Families,
Thank you to everyone who is following the direction of our staff as they utilize the Car Rider Line to drop off or pick up their student(s). Please remember to pull all the way forward. This will enable us to fully utilize the lane and get everyone safely to their destinations. This year we have added a yellow line to the sidewalks in front of the building and at the car rider line. We are asking for students to walk on the inside of the yellow line to maintain a safe distance from cars.
During these past few weeks you may have heard your child talking about Voice Levels in the hallways and in the Lunchroom. A Level 0 voice is used in the hallway or during quiet work times. Please ask your child what the other levels mean. They should be able to tell you the volume for each level. We will continue to remind and reinforce this system throughout the school year with our students.
We have some exciting upcoming events happening at Graham School and in District #204. Curriculum Night will be this upcoming Wednesday, September 12th at 6:30PM. At 6PM we will be hosting an Information Session for parents to explain and answer questions regarding the Chrome Books distribution and use for our 2nd – 5th Grade students. Please remember this is a Parent-only event. The District is hosting the annual World Café Event at Metea Valley High School. This is an opportunity to meet parents and staff from other District 204 schools and discuss interests pertinent to our schools and our students. Each school will have a table at the World Café that accommodates up to 8 people. The World Café is on Thursday, September 27th, 6:30-9:00 pm, at Metea Valley High School (commons area).
Third-Party Educational Programs
The following companies have rented space in our schools to offer an after-school educational program for students.
