Dear Graham Families,
Safety Week will take place at our school the week of March 18th. During this week, we will teach safety lessons to students. The lessons will cover the mandatory drills for fire and tornado, internet and general school safety. The following safety skills will be presented in age appropriate ways: listen to an adult, be alert, situational awareness, moving with a purpose, exit awareness, rally points and appropriate choices when utilizing technology. The students will also review Digital Citizenship rules and expectations. These lessons are designed to cover the basic components of school safety without creating anxiety or worry in students.
We look forward to an engaging week with our students. Please contact my office if you have any
questions. Thank you for your continued support in keeping our school safe.
ATTENTION PARENTS WITH INCOMING KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
If you have a child who will be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2019, he or she is eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2019-20 school year. We are pleased to offer ALL-DAY kindergarten for your child.*
Indian Prairie District 204 elementary schools are now in the process of pre-registration for incoming kindergarten students.
*Please contact your principal if you have questions about attending a half-day of kindergarten or criteria for early entrance through the Acceleration Act.
Please call (630-428-6900) or stop by the Graham School Office for further information.
Reminders and Requests:
When calling in your child’s attendance or late arrival, please call the 24 hour absent line 630-428-6900, option 3.
Please remember to use the grade level shelf in the foyer when dropping off a forgotten item or bringing in lunch. Additionally please include your child’s name and classroom teacher on a sticky note, if the child’s name is not clearly visible on the item.
There are already items in the Lost and Found collection that are looking for ‘home’. If your child is missing an item, please feel free to come and look through the items.
Please feel free to call or email me if you have any questions or concerns.
