Dear Graham Families,

Yesterday we held our PTA Meeting here at school. It was a wonderful opportunity to hear about what is going on with the PTA, what is happening here at school, to ask questions and meet other parents. Next month, our Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Karen Sullivan will be attending the PTA Meeting on April 17th at 9:30AM. Please look for more information to come.

Congratulations to all our Graham School Scientists! On Wednesday evening, the PTA held a phenomenal Science Fair for our students. Staff and parents were the judges for our students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. The students not only showcased their creativity and hard work, they were also able to demonstrate their knowledge in science. It was a great night! Thank you to everyone for all your hard work!

SAFETY WEEK

Safety Week will take place at our school the week of March 18th. During this week, we will teach safety lessons to students. The lessons will cover the mandatory drills for fire and tornado, internet and general school safety. The following safety skills will be presented in age appropriate ways: listen to an adult, be alert, situational awareness, moving with a purpose, exit awareness, rally points and appropriate choices when utilizing technology. The students will also review Digital Citizenship rules and expectations. These lessons are designed to cover the basic components of school safety without creating anxiety or worry in students.

We look forward to an engaging week with our students. Please contact my office if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support in keeping our school safe.

GRAHAM SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS:

The Volunteer Appreciation Tea will be April 12th at 2PM here at Graham School. Details forthcoming closer to the event. Please save the date. We are looking forward to appreciating you.
