Dear Graham Families,
Registration has begun for 2019-20 school year. Please complete your student’s registration packet and return it to Graham as soon as possible. We have 99 students verified and 50 registration packets completed. Additionally, please remember residency must be verified before starting the registration process. It is important to review all of your child’s information before turning in your completed packet. The sooner registration comes in, the better we are able to assess our needs for next year.
If you are moving/relocating next year, please notify the office, so that we may answer any questions and assist you with transfer information or forms.
If you have a kindergartner starting in the fall and did not receive a registration packet, please contact the school office. Please return all registration paperwork to Graham by June 3, 2019.
Parent Input Form
Each year, you have the opportunity to fill out a Parent Input Form. Please look the attached form over. If you have information to share with me regarding your student(s) placement for the next school year, I invite you to fill out the form and send it back to school.
The Kids IPEF Marathon
We are excited to be able to share information with each of you for the 2019 Kids Marathon which will take place on October 19th at Neuqua Valley High School. Registration for the Kids Marathon is currently open. Graham has had great participation in the past. Let’s continue that trend! Training for the run is a great way to stay active over the summer!
Lost and Found
There are items in the Lost and Found collection that are looking for ‘home’. If your child is missing an item, please feel free to come and look through the items. Please be aware if items are unclaimed at the end of the school year, we donate the items to local charities.
Presentation on Anxiety
All District 204 parents are invited to hear from experts and join in a discussion on ways parents can address and support the needs of children who suffer with anxiety. Treating Anxious Kids will be presented from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Thursday, May 2 in room 156 at Waubonsie Valley High School (enter door 16 by the pool). The discussion will cover exposure and response prevention for OCD and anxiety disorders, examples of what exposures look like, common signs of anxiety in students, and what parents can do to help in the moment. There will also be a Q&A session.
ATTENTION PARENTS WITH INCOMING KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
If you have a child who will be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2019, he or she is eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2019-20 school year. We are pleased to offer ALL-DAY kindergarten for your child.*
Indian Prairie District 204 elementary schools are now in the process of pre-registration for incoming kindergarten students.
