6 Last Day of School for the 18-19 school year

10 Report Cards available after 12PM

Dear Graham Families,

The school year is winding down, but before the last bell there’s still lots of learning and fun activities planned. Please note the last day of school, June 6th, is a full day of classes for elementary students. Report cards will be available after 12pm on the 10th.

We are still in need of verification and registration from some of our families for next year. What is the difference between verification and registration? Verification is an online process used to verify that all your information is current and up to date. Registration is the actual process of enrolling your child in school for the upcoming year. Thank you to everyone who has already completed this process.

School Medication Pick Up On Last Day of School

Per the District protocol, all medications and/or medical supplies are to be picked up by parents on the last day of school. On June 6, our last day of school, health services personnel will be available to assist you throughout the day. If you are unable to pick up your student’s supplies on that date, please contact the school health office. On June 10, all medication and/or medical supplies, which have been left at school, will be disposed of.

Next year FYIs:

If you are moving/relocating next year, please notify the office, so that we may answer any questions and assist you with transfer information or forms.

If you have a kindergartner starting in the fall and did not receive a registration packet, please contact the school office. Please return all registration paperwork to Graham by June 3, 2019.

The Kids IPEF Marathon

We are excited to be able to share information with each of you for the 2019 Kids Marathon which will take place on October 19th at Neuqua Valley High School. Registration for the Kids Marathon is currently open. Graham has had great participation in the past. Let’s continue that trend! Training for the run is a great way to stay active over the summer!

Lost and Found

There are items in the Lost and Found collection that are looking for ‘home’. If your child is missing an item, please feel free to come and look through the items. Please be aware if items are unclaimed at the end of the school year, we donate the items to local charities.

Presentation on Anxiety

All District 204 parents are invited to hear from experts and join in a discussion on ways parents can address and support the needs of children who suffer with anxiety. Treating Anxious Kids will be presented from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Thursday, May 2 in room 156 at Waubonsie Valley High School (enter door 16 by the pool). The discussion will cover exposure and response prevention for OCD and anxiety disorders, examples of what exposures look like, common signs of anxiety in students, and what parents can do to help in the moment. There will also be a Q&A session.

ATTENTION PARENTS WITH INCOMING KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS

If you have a child who will be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2019, he or she is eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2019-20 school year. We are pleased to offer ALL-DAY kindergarten for your child.*

Indian Prairie District 204 elementary schools are now in the process of pre-registration for incoming kindergarten students.

*Please contact your principal if you have questions about attending a half-day of kindergarten or criteria for early entrance through the Acceleration Act.

Please call (630-428-6900) or stop by the Graham School Office for further information.

Reminders and Requests:
