5 Rescheduled Field Day

6 Last Day of School for the 18-19 school year

10 Report Cards available after 12PM

Dear Graham Families,

Each year we say goodbye to our 5th graders by celebrating them on the last day of school. This year they will have the opportunity to have a reception before school and a special trolley ride over to begin their last day of elementary school. At the end of the day, we will as a school gather in the hallways and outside to “clap” for our 5th graders, as they exit the building. If you would like to join us to see our students on their way, please plan to gather at the back of the building lining the sidewalk by 3:15PM.

Please remember the last day of school is Thursday, June 6th and it is a full day of classes. If you are returning to Graham in August, please make sure you have completed online verification and registration. We cannot add your student to a class list until both of these things are completed. Thank you to the many families who have completed their online verification and sent in their registration paperwork.

Report Cards will be available in the Home Access Center on June 14th at noon.

Please be advised this summer Graham will be getting a new roof over the angled portion of the building. The office staff will remain at Graham, but it is always a good idea to call the office before you come over. Our office hours will be 8 – 3PM Monday – Thursday beginning June 14th. The school district is closed on Fridays during the Summer Break.

School Medication Pick Up On Last Day of School

Per the District protocol, all medications and/or medical supplies are to be picked up by parents on the last day of school. On June 6, our last day of school, health services personnel will be available to assist you throughout the day. If you are unable to pick up your student’s supplies on that date, please contact the school health office. On June 10, all medication and/or medical supplies, which have been left at school, will be disposed of.

Next year FYIs:

If you are moving/relocating next year, please notify the office, so that we may answer any questions and assist you with transfer information or forms.

If you have a kindergartner starting in the fall and did not receive a registration packet, please contact the school office. Please return all registration paperwork to Graham by June 3, 2019.

The Kids IPEF Marathon

We are excited to be able to share information with each of you for the 2019 Kids Marathon which will take place on October 19th at Neuqua Valley High School. Registration for the Kids Marathon is currently open. Graham has had great participation in the past. Let’s continue that trend! Training for the run is a great way to stay active over the summer!

Lost and Found

There are items in the Lost and Found collection that are looking for ‘home’. If your child is missing an item, please feel free to come and look through the items. Please be aware if items are unclaimed at the end of the school year, we donate the items to local charities.

If you have a child who will be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2019, he or she is eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2019-20 school year. We are pleased to offer ALL-DAY kindergarten for your child.*

Indian Prairie District 204 elementary schools are now in the process of pre-registration for incoming kindergarten students.

*Please contact your principal if you have questions about attending a half-day of kindergarten or criteria for early entrance through the Acceleration Act.

Please call (630-428-6900) or stop by the Graham School Office for further information.

Reminders and Requests:

When calling in your child’s attendance or late arrival, please call the 24 hour absent line 630-428-6900, option 3.
Please remember to use the grade level shelf in the foyer when dropping off a forgotten item or bringing in lunch. Additionally please include your child’s name and classroom teacher on a sticky note, if the child’s name is not clearly visible on the item.

Ms. Walton
