Here is what is new and noteworthy for Graham…

McDonalds Night
We hope our Graham families and friends join us on Tuesday, September 17th from 4:30 – 7:30PM at “McTeacher” Night at McDonald’s (95th Street location). Over 20 teachers and staff will be working to raise money for our Graham IPEF runners. We hope to see you there!

Watch D.O.G.S. Informational Meeting:
All dads are welcome to attend the Watch D.O.G.S. Informational Meeting and enjoy some pizza this Thursday, September 19th at 6:30 pm in the Graham MPR. Come find out more about a wonderful way to experience a day in the life of Graham. This is for dads only. (No children) There will be a raffle for first choice sign up that all attendees will be entered to win!

Falcon FUNdraiser
Remember to send in your money for the Falcon Fundraiser and be entered to win many fantastic weekly raffle prizes (and even an IPad for donations of $100 or more!) The fundraiser will culminate on 9/27 (rain date 9/30) with students participating in fun and games outdoors on the Graham school grounds, and if we meet our school wide goal of $7500, the students will get a special surprise!

Art Awareness Training
The Art Awareness program has had 21 volunteers sign up and our Orientation will be Mon. Monday, Sept 23rd at 9:30 am in the Guided Reading Room. We currently have only one volunteer in the following classrooms: Ms. Morgano— Mrs. Williams— Mrs. Vasquez— and Mr. Troyer. All other classrooms would love more volunteers too. Without more volunteers, the students in these classrooms will not get the full value of the Art Awareness program. Coat Drive
We will be collecting new and gently-used winter items to distribute to families in need in our district as part of the IPPC drive. Please consider donating coats, gloves, hats, scarves, snow pants, snow boots of any size (infant to adult) that are clean and have working zippers. Donation boxes will be located in the Graham front entry from September 19th - 30th. Any questions, please contact Kristin Kirchner at kirchnercrew@gmail.com

Vaping Presentation
Indian Prairie District 204 will be offering a “What You Need to Know About Vaping” presentation at Waubonsie Valley High School on October 2nd from 7 - 8 pm. For more information, click here… http://www.ipsd.org/news.aspx?id=104716
Room Parent
ONLY 1 SPOT LEFT: We need one parent to step up in 4V. If you are interested in helping work on your grade level team plans and option to attend all seasonal parties for your child’s class, please consider signing up as room parent. Party helper spots will be limited this year with our small school size and we don’t want anyone left out. Training meeting with ideas will be provided and you will work on a team of 4 parents to plan the celebrations. Parties will be held on 10/31, 12/22, and 2/14. Junior Achievement:

JA Supplies are being ordered and training will be scheduled once they arrive. We appreciate those who signed up already to help us bring this to our classes.

A+ Award Nomination Link

Remind App
Recently a letter and an email went home about the Remind app. This is a new form of communication for important information for your Graham student and it can be downloaded onto your mobile device! If you have misplaced your letter or deleted the email and need additional assistance, please email Kristin Kirchner at kirchnercrew@gmail.com.
