Here’s what you need to know….

Conference Donation Sign Up:
We have conferences coming up and would like to show our appreciation to our wonderful, hard working staff during these long days! We will be providing a snack for our teachers during the evening conferences on 11/21 and a delicious lunch catered by Jewel on Monday 11/25. Please help us make this possible by signing up to donate an item or gift card to be delivered to school by noon on Thursday, 11/21 on the signup genius below:

Holiday Class Gift:
Please keep a look out for a note coming home in your child’s backpack about a class gift for their teacher. The room parents will be coordinating a gift from the entire class (if you choose to participate). All details will be forthcoming.

Toy Drive:
Graham is again partnering with Gift Mart Wheatland Community in holding a toy drive to benefit under resourced children in Indian Prairie School District 204. These families come from households in financial stress whom may not otherwise be able to afford gifts for the holidays. Gift Mart is a program that provides families who qualify with a “hand up” during the holiday season. Parents and guardians are invited to a toyshop where they can purchase new toys for only $2.00 per toy. 100% of the proceeds made from the sale of each toy will be donated back to qualifying schools to fund much needed resources. Please consider donating a new, unwrapped toy that is safe for children ages 6-12. Toy boxes are by the front office and ready to go! Boxes will be up until December. Your generosity and giving spirit are appreciated!

Last week an email was sent with instructions on how to access the online directory via the Directory Spot app. We are excited to offer this benefit to our Graham PTA Members again this year! If you need help accessing the directory, please reach out to Andrea Walter at

Congratulations to our Graham Students who have advanced to the district level for Reflections! They are, Sofija Brencis, Jacob High, Heidi Huntington, Saanvi Kumar, Saina Nagar, Sanav Nagar, Zayden Pinto, Aanya Reddy, Aadya Venkat, Vedanth Venkat, and Aarush Virginikar. We wish them the best of luck in the next round!

Maker Space:
Every Thursday and Friday, volunteers staff our Makerspace so that the students have access to more involved projects and activities. This includes programming robots, creating their own video games, themed Makerspace challenges, and much more. Without the help of volunteers, this would not be possible.

We are in need of volunteers to fill several open time slots for Makerspace. No experience is needed. Just the desire to work with students. If we have any interested parents, grandparents, etc that would be willing to help, please contact Brooke Murphy at:

Butter Braid:
If you ordered Butter Braid, please mark your calendar to pick up the products on Friday, December 6th from 2:30 - 5:00 pm.

Next PTA Meeting:
The next PTA Meeting will be held on Thursday, December 12th at 9:30 am. Our special guest speaker will be Adam Smeets, the Chief Technology Officer for District 204. There will be door prizes, so please plan to attend!

Restaurant Night:
Join us at Chipotle on December 18th from 5pm to 9pm for our next restaurant night.

Winter Party:
Our Winter Party will be held on Friday, December 20th. Thank you to the parents who have volunteered to work that event!
