Our Winter Party will be held on Friday, December 20th. All room party volunteers are able to park in the lot in front of the school, will enter into the building using Door #2, gather in the MPR and then go to your child's classroom at 2:00, the parties begin at 2:15. Please remember if you have not already been entered into the Raptor System, we will need to enter your license into our system. All party volunteers will check-in at the PTA Table to receive a volunteer tag. Please place your tag in a visible area on your person. Room parents at each grade level have worked hard to plan activities for the students to participate in during the celebration, which includes crafts and games. It will be a great way to kick off Winter Break!
Co Chair Meeting:
If you are serving as a chair for any of our committees, please mark your calendar for our next Committee Co Chair Meeting. It will be held on Thursday, January 9th at 9:30 am.
Graham’s Global Adventures Planning Meeting:
We will be meeting to plan Graham’s Global Adventures Night which is an event celebrating the diversity of our families (slated for April 15th) on Friday, January 10th at 2 pm. Please come to the planning meeting to help us put together a cultural fair representing what makes Graham uniquely special including demonstrations surrounding each culture’s holidays, clothing, artwork, music, and special traditions. This will be a world showcase— a night for students and families to share and learn from each other and inspire meaningful connections and conversations! If you are interested in helping in this event, please come to the planning meeting. We’d love to hear your ideas!
Girls on the Run:
Graham is excited to bring back Girls on the Run for Spring '20! The season is set to begin the last week of Feb/first week of March - dates will be confirmed after break.
Girls on the Run is an after-school program dedicated to creating a world where every girl activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. For 10 weeks, we are inviting 4th and 5th grade girls to train for a 5K and learn powerful lessons about teamwork, self-esteem, and leadership. Coaches and girls meet 2x a week after school at Graham. This will be our 2nd year participating in the program and we are looking for amazing volunteers to help make it possible.
Won’t you consider joining us?
You don’t have to be a runner or have previous coaching experience— just the passion to positively impact girls’ lives! Girls on the Run coaches are just like YOU, teachers, parents, and community members, willing to go the extra mile for our girls and who take great pride in being a role model. Coaching can be a wonderful and rewarding experience, and we think you would be a great addition to our team.

If you are interested or have any questions, let us know. We are keeping a list of interested volunteers to contact with next steps.
We look forward to having you join the team!
