5 Essentials Survey:
If you have not already completed this survey, please do it now! We need at least 20% participation rate to receive survey results and we have not yet hit that mark. Here is the link…

To take this short survey:
1. Visit
2. Type and select “DuPage” as "County." (The county is the location of the school district's main office.)
3. Type your school's name into the "School" field and select your school.

IPPA PTA meeting:
Next meeting will be Thursday, January 30th 6:30-8:00 pm. Crouse Education Center 780 Shoreline Drive Aurora, IL. Guest speaker, Adam Russo, author of Unwritten Rules: Real Strategies to Parent Your Child into a Successful Adult. Any questions, please contact our liaison Kelly Moscickis

Graham’s Global Adventures Planning Meeting:
We will be meeting to plan Graham’s Global Adventures Night which is an event celebrating the diversity of our families (slated for April 15th) on Friday, January 31st at 2 pm. We will be putting together a cultural fair representing what makes Graham uniquely special including demonstrations surrounding each culture’s holidays, clothing, artwork, music, and special traditions. If you are interested in helping in this event, please come to the planning meeting. We’d love to hear your ideas!

Please note that the link includes the countries from data collected from the beginning of the school year, and also provides a slot to fill in OTHER countries. The sign up is alphabetized and may include multiple pages.

Blessings in a Backpack:
Our next Blessings in a Backpack packing event will be held BEFORE school at 8 am on Monday, February 3rd in the gym. Please sign up to let us know if you can make it, we hope you can join us!

Jump Rope for Heart:
We will again be supporting Mr. Cooper and the school in our Jump Rope for Heart event scheduled for February 7th.

Please download the American Heart Kids Heart Challenge app...
We need everyone to simply download the app and register your kids to participate in our January 7th event. If we can get 150 kids registered, we will earn new PE equipment that all of our students benefit from. Here is a link to the app…
If you have already registered for the fundraising portion of the event, your credentials will work for the log-in. If not, you can easily set it up and your child can use the app for games to play and videos to watch.

Jump Rope for Heart Fundraising Information...
1. Go to your school’s fundraising page:
2. Click on the Sign Up button
3. Create a username and password and then fill out the registration form
4. Share your personal fundraising link with friends and family right away.

Jet’s Pizza Restaurant Fundraiser:
Please order pizza from Jet’s anytime on Monday, February 10th . You can help Graham and we can help you not have to cook dinner!

Science Night:
The STEM committee is excited for the upcoming Family Science Night on Thursday, February 13th from 6:00 - 8:00pm. Students and their families are welcome to come explore hands-on activities and demonstrations brought to you by local organizations and vendors including a presentation on explosions!

Valentine’s Day Parties:
If you have registered to volunteer at one of our Valentines Day Parties, they will be held on Friday, February 14th from 2:00 - 3:15 pm. If you have a child in KM and would like to volunteer to help at the party or if you can help with donations, please follow this link…

Boys Choice:
Boys Choice will be held on Thursday, February 20th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Bowlero in Naperville. Invitations were sent out last week and if you need a RSVP form, it is attached to this newsletter. We hope to see you there!

Skate Night:
Our next Skate Night will be on Wednesday, February 26th from 6 - 8 pm. Make sure to come dressed in Graham spirit wear!

Girls on the Run:
We're looking for 4th & 5th Grade Girls to join Graham's after-school club - Girls on the Run! Emails have already been sent to our 4th and 5th grade girls with the registration link to enroll in our Spring GOTR at Graham! Registration is open now through 2/14. Please contact Emily or Stephanie with any questions.

December/January Pictures:
If you have taken pictures in the month of December or January for the Winter Holiday Party, Skate Night, the Reflections Ceremony, Bingo, or any other events that you would like to be included in the yearbook, please email them to:

Valley Runway:
If you have any formal dresses, shoes, purses or accessories laying around in your closet, please drop them off in the Graham lobby for the District 204 Valley Runway group that provides them for free to District 204 students so that the cost of their outfit does not prohibit them from attending the prom. See the attached flyer for more details.

Thank you:
We want to thank Alissa Krusoe and Suzanne Fallon for the wonderful job they did planning the Reflections Reception held this past week. Thank you for putting together such a great event to recognize our students efforts!

Want to become more involved?
We have open board positions and committee chair positions for next year, come join a wonderful group of volunteers! If you have thought about stepping up or want to be more involved, now is the time! We’d love to have your help planning events and programs for our children.
