5th Grade Farewell:
Our 5th Grade Farewell co-chairs have been busy putting together plans to still celebrate our graduating 5th Graders. Thanks for sending in your info for Crone shirts, be on the lookout for a special delivery this week! We also are putting together a video of pictures of your students through their years at Graham and their Graham teachers waving your 5th graders off. This will be shown via a zoom call on the last day of school. TODAY MAY 11th is the deadline to get these pictures in. Detailed instructions on how to submit this were sent last week and are attached to this newsletter. We will use your child's baby picture that was already submitted to the yearbook, then would love to have a picture of them in Kindergarten, current 5th grade picture, and any other picture of them at school events over the years. All photos should be submitted to this google drive:
In addition, if possible we will still be doing a 5th grade trolley ride from the River Run Clubhouse to school for a Kona Ice party at the school playground on a TBD date this summer.

Pandemic EBT SNAP Benefits
The Illinois State Board of Education has asked school districts to share information on Pandemic EBT (P-EBT), a new program that helps families buy food for their school aged children. Families that currently receive SNAP benefits do not need to apply for P-EBT benefits. These additional P-EBT benefits will be added to Illinois LINK EBT accounts along with regular SNAP benefits. Families who do not currently receive SNAP benefits but do have children who receive NSLP free or reduced-priced meals will need to apply directly with IDHS. The fastest way for families to receive benefits is to complete the application for P-EBT available online (Click “Apply for Benefits” at the link.) A paper application in English and Spanish is also available and can be submitted by email to DHS.FCS.PEBT@illinois.gov.
More information is available at P-EBT.
Free Meals for Students
Organic Life continues to offer curbside pick-up of grab and go breakfast and lunch at no cost for all students. Pick-up locations are at each elementary school near door 1, between 11 am and 1 pm, Monday through Friday. If your family needs meals, let us know by completing this form.
