News From the Nest - May 15th
Dear Graham Families,
We had a lot of rain this week, but it looks like it may be a very nice weekend ahead.
We realize that we are not able to offer many of the wonderful end of the year activities for our students that are traditions here at Graham. The teachers have put on their thinking caps and provided an opportunity for a few of those treasured events to happen. The 4th grade is doing a modified egg drop. The staff and I, as well as the PTA are planning some social distance ways to celebrate our 5th grade students. For the whole school, Mr. Cooper has come up with a plan to offer a virtual Field Day our Graham students.
Graham's Field Day - May 22, 2020
I hope that your child(ren) will be able to join Mr. Cooper and Mrs. Cody for our virtual Field Day on May 22nd. Thank you, Mr. Cooper and Mrs. Cody (who has stepped up to help him), for working on this and putting it together for our students. While we were and are disappointed that we cannot be together, our goal is to celebrate the end of the year in a way that is appropriate but fun for our students.

End of the Year - Spirit Fun days
One of our Graham traditions is to have an end of the year countdown. This year we would like to do a five-day countdown and have students show their spirit during their class Zoom meetings. To help students stay focused, the spirit days will be on Fridays until the last two days of school.
Thank you for supporting our efforts in keeping this tradition.
Be ready to show your spirit during your class Zoom meeting.
