Valentine's Day is around the corner: Plan to pick up your student’s gift bag this week!
Our PTA has prepared fun activities for the kids since we won’t be together to celebrate this year Due to the transition to hybrid, and 2/14 being on a weekend we will not be able to have a zoom party. Instead each child will have a gift bag waiting for them at pick-up at Graham with crafts kits, activities, and a small gift for the kids. No food items will be passed out. In addition, inside their gift bag will be an extra surprise. A simple love bug craft to make and share with friends. It’s time to Bug Your Friends! They can use the love bug craft kit to make 3 cute critters, add a note, and drop off to a friend or neighbor’s mailbox to say hi and let them know they are thinking of them! The eyes included in your kit are stickers, just peel and add to your bug. Much like Boo bags are used by many in the fall, this new activity will hopefully help them connect together, while apart. We are hoping everyone will join us in spreading the love with these special surprises :)
Pick up will be by the front door of Graham on tables during the following hours:
Monday Feb 8th - 10-3 pm
Tuesday Feb 9th - 1-2 pm
Wednesday Feb 10th - 1-2 pm
Reflections Virtual Ceremony
Attention National PTA Reflections Artists!
It is time to celebrate you and your creativity! On Wednesday, February 24th 6:30-7 we will have a virtual awards ceremony. You will be receiving a zoom link via email beforehand. Mark your calendars!
Open Positions on the PTA!
We have an open board position (President) and committee chair positions for next year, come join a wonderful group of volunteers! If you have thought about stepping up or want to be more involved, now is the time! We’d love to have your help planning events and programs for our children. You can email Tracie Skindzier at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions or to indicate your interest level.
Save the date for Jump Rope for Heart! This year's event will be held on February 18th and 19th based on your gym class time. Mr Cooper is getting together details and you should have received a detailed email on Friday. He included the parent letter, introduction video, and American Heart Association letter which covers the process of signing up. If you need a jump rope we have provided a box of assorted colors in a box in front of the school.
