Assessment

Students are given written and performance assessments throughout the year. There are also district assessments given in grades 2-5. In 2nd and 5th grade, students are given a written district assessment. In 3rd and 4th grade, students are given district performance assessments.

Chorus

Any fourth or fifth grader is invited to join chorus. In chorus, we develop vocal technique, reading music, expression, responsibility, and team-working skills by singing music from various styles and backgrounds. We rehearse every Tuesday morning starting at 7:50 a.m. We give three performances each school year.

Fine Arts Festival

This arts festival takes place in May at both high schools and showcases the different artistic achievements of students from Elementary through High School.

Evening Musical Performances

Kindergarten, Second Grade, and Fifth Grade give evening musical performances for family and friends. All students are encouraged to participate.
