"Go For The Gold" Walkathon
September 30, 2016


The Graham PTA is hosting our annual fundraising event, the "Go For The Gold" Walkathon. Walkathon is a fun event that students look forward to participating in every year. It is our main fundraiser for the year—100% of the funds raised through Walkathon go back to Graham School and your students. Classroom parties, the Accelerated Reader Program, STEM Science Fair, and many more events and programs are sponsored by the Graham PTA. Walkathon Donations make these programs possible.

Our goal is to raise at least $9,200 this year to support PTA programming. We would love to have 100% of all students participate in our fundraising efforts. Any donation amount is welcome!

 

Prizes! Prizes! Prizes!

  • For every donation, regardless of amount, students will receive a personalized star on the Multipurpose Room Stage!
  • For every $25 donation, students will receive an engraved Graham Falcon keychain! (Students will receive their keychain of choice on a first come, first serve basis)
  • $100 + donations earn the coveted Golden Torch keychain!!
  • Prize packages will be awarded to the top individual earners (including Color Me Mine, SkyZone, Crossfit Resurgence, and others)
  • Top 2 earning classrooms will receive a classroom celebration!

Students may collect donations online at grahampta.org or send in this form along with a cash/check dona-tion in the attached envelope. Please make checks payable to Graham PTA.

Donations are tax deductible. Any donation amount is appreciated. Donations for prizes will be accepted up until September 30. Keychains will be distributed each Friday (starting September 9) or qualifying donations received that week.

 

Programs/Events Supported by the PTA

The funds raised at the "Go For The Gold" Walkathon help pay for these school programs that enhance our children’s education, as well as several social events throughout the year including:

  • Sponsor Classroom Parties
  • Funds and runs the Accelerated Reader Program
  • Contributes funds to LMC to purchase new books
  • Provides teacher grants and classroom wish lists
  • Supports author visits and school assemblies
  • Sponsors the STEM Science Fair
  • Funds ART Awareness Supplies
  • Sponsors Girls Choice Event and Boys Choice Event
  • Sponsors Staff Appreciation Week and Teacher luncheons for Back to School/Conferences
  • Provides the New Family Welcome Coffee
  • Sponsors Family Movie Night
  • Sponsors the 5th Grade year end event and Crone T-shirts
  • Sponsors Earth Week and Nutrition Weeks
  • Sponsors the Ice Cream Social
  • Contributes refreshments for Jump Rope for Heart and Field Day
  • Funded the creation of MakerSpace
