Reported by on 4/26/21

Hello Graham Families! Here is some information about what is coming up this month:

Boy’s Choice - Going on Now!

We kicked off this years event Friday! You still have until this Friday April 23rd to complete the Scavenger Hunt.
Finish the missions on the list and snap pictures of your finds.
(Hint - make sure to complete the last mission to find a special treat! All favors are labeled with your child's name, please contact us if you don’t see it in the bin or can’t find the last location)

We hope the Scavenger Hunt is a fun way to spend some quality time outside with your son searching for items that can be found in your neighborhood!

If you have any questions, please contact Kristin Kirchner at

Stan’s Donut Truck

The Stan’s Van is headed back to Naperville's High Meadow Park for a Graham School fundraiser on Saturday April 24th from 9am to 12pm! We know not everyone was able to get their donuts in the fall so the van is taking pre-orders! We strongly encourage you to pre-order which will guarantee your donuts.
Place your pre-orders here:
Pre-orders cut off 48 hours before the event, and the options include Stan’s Van Dozen, Premium Dozen, Assorted Half Dozen, Glutenless Half Dozen, and Vegan Half Dozen. When you log on to pre-order select pickup and then our date of April 24th.
A limited amount of donuts will be available for onsite purchase.
Please contact Stan’s Donuts if you have any questions.

Teacher Appreciation Week

We are starting to begin our preparations for this year’s Teacher Appreciation Week! This year’s “I Survived 2020-21” theme will help celebrate our amazing teachers who were able to do everything and roll with our ever changing year with a great week May 3-7th. I have attached a detailed agenda for our week. We will need your help to make it a success! PLEASE come up to school to Chalk the Walk on Saturday May 1st and Sunday May 2nd. Bring your own chalk and draw pictures and write messages to our teachers and staff. Also PLEASE consider donating some treats for the teachers listed on the sign up genius below to make their week special. These will be for the Breakfast Day, Sweet Treats Day, and Lunch/Snack Day (we will be using the Jewel Gift Cards to buy individually wrapped deli subs for lunch). This is always such a special event for the PTA to put on, and we thank you for your support!

All donations can be dropped off to a front porch bin to Tracie Skindzier in River Run at 1755 Baybrook Lane or Kelly Moscickis at 5060 Switch Grass Ln in High Meadow between April 24th - May 2nd.

5th Grade Farewell
The countdown is on! Graham fifth graders will be leaving the nest in 8 short weeks!
Please see the attached flyer for the GRAHAM FALCONS 2021 Yard Signs to celebrate this milestone.
The optional signs for 5th graders only are $20 each (plus tax) and will be delivered to your home by the Graham PTA mid-May.

Recognize a Staff Member for Teacher Appreciation Week - District activity

April 23 deadline
The Indian Prairie Parents’ Council (IPPC) is partnering with local businesses to recognize District 204 teachers and staff members for Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3-7. Parents and community members can honor school personnel who have made a difference this year, while also supporting local businesses and students in need. Each $25 donation allows you to honor your favorite teacher with a heartfelt note and a $20 gift card from a local business that you select from the list provided. Your note and gift card will be delivered directly to your teacher. $5 of your donation will help support the IPPC annual school supply drive to assist low-income students.
