PTA Newsletter 1/10/22
Welcome Back! We hope everyone enjoyed their time off over winter break! Here are dates to put on your new calendar…
***GIRLS CHOICE POSTPONED***
We are sorry to have to postpone the Girls Choice Dance but due to the current positivity rate for Covid and the lack of home tests/backlog of in person testing we are going to postpone our January dance. Our new date for the Girls' Choice Dance is Friday May 20th. We are hopeful cases will be down and we can also utilize both indoor and outdoor space that time of year. If you have any questions please reach out to Jen Amato at email@example.com
January PTA/Committee Co-Chair Meeting this Thursday:
The next PTA Meeting will be a committee co-chair meeting as well. We hope to see all chairs for events in the second half of the year and will go over the budget for the 2nd semester. It will be held Thursday, January 13th at 9:30 am via zoom. Hope you can join us! Login information was sent in emailed newsletter.
Community Service Project
Our next community service project will be a packing event at Feed My Starving Children on Saturday, January 22 from 4:30-6:15pm. FMSC is located at 555 Exchange Ct, Aurora.
FMSC offers volunteers a one-of-a-kind experience. You’ll hand-pack rice, soy, dried vegetables and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into bags which are then sealed, boxed, placed on pallets and shipped to our incredible partners working hard to reach the neediest children around the world.
We have 71 spots reserved for Graham. Sign up is first come, first serve, so please sign up ASAP if you’re interested in attending. This event is open for students ages 5 and up, as well as parents/family members/teachers/staff. Children grades K-2 must be accompanied by one adult per child. Children grades 3-5 can have 3 children accompanied by one adult.
*Masks are required.
Please click the link below to sign up! Please make sure to sign up each person participating and include your email in the sign up in order to receive updates. Email Becky Thorn at RebeccaClarkSLP@gmail.com with any questions.
